Australia rejects Simcha Rothman's visa request: 'Spreads hate and division'

|
Australia has rejected the visa request of Constitution Committee Chairman, MK Simcha Rothman, after he sought to attend a conference in the country. Australian Interior Minister Tony Burke stated in a declaration that "If you come to us to spread hate and division - we don't want you." According to The Guardian, he will not be able to submit another visa application for the next three years. The Australian government prepared a list of Rothman's quotes to support their claims, including opposition to a Palestinian state and support for sovereignty. Rothman told ynet that "The Australian government has chosen to surrender to terrorism."
