Rishon LeZion Mayor: 'We checked all the shelters, we're used to going from zero to a hundred'

|
Raz Kinstlich, Mayor of Rishon LeZion, said in an interview with Ynet Studio that "there is no change in policy, but we are on full alert. This morning we conducted a check of all the shelters. We're used to going from zero to a hundred, and some 50,000 residents do not have protection." Yona Yahav, Mayor of Haifa, said: "35% of Haifa residents do not have protection. It will take a year and a half to protect these homes." In Ashdod as well, the city announced the opening of shelters "in light of the escalating security tensions." The municipality emphasized that this is only an increase in internal readiness, with no change in Home Front Command instructions.
