|
Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman addressed the ynet revelation that Shas chairman Aryeh Deri firmly rejected a proposal to tax travelers to Uman to help fund anticipated state expenses. Lieberman wrote on his X account that "Houses in Kiryat Shmona have remained destroyed for more than a year, Soroka Hospital is forced to collect donations to repair the damage - and meanwhile, the October 7 government is funding trips to Uman at the public's expense." According to him, "This is the distorted order of priorities of the October 7 government."
