|
Due to the forecast of severe weather in the south tomorrow and Wednesday, police have ordered the closure of all hiking sites from Be'er Sheva to Eilat. A police statement said people should avoid visiting hiking sites, streams and hiking trails in the area and refrain from non-essential travel in at-risk areas. According to the Meteorological Service, heavy rain, strong winds, thunderstorms, lightning and hail are expected in the coming two days, along with concern for flooding in the Negev streams, the Arava and the Eilat area.
