The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment with the Jerusalem District Court against 21-year-old Eli Lavon from Jerusalem for espionage on behalf of Iran. According to the indictment, during late 2025 and early 2026, Lavon made contact with individuals who identified themselves as 'Sina' and 'Alexander,' who were operating on behalf of Iranian intelligence, and carried out tasks for them such as photographing the central bus station in the capital and documenting a building in the Bukharian Quarter. Lavon received money from the agents for the tasks.
