Justice Amit orders public removed from courtroom

|
Supreme Court President Justice Yitzhak Amit ordered the public to be removed from the courtroom to continue the High Court hearing regarding the appointment of David Zini as head of the Shin Bet. Justice Amit said in his decision that the disruptions to the hearing are "an attempt to sabotage a legal proceeding. I don't know any proper Western democracy where things happen in such a way. This is an attack on the core of democracy, no less." Currently, only journalists and members of Knesset remain in the audience.
