Microsoft has updated that users of its cloud platform Azure in the Middle East region may experience delays and communication disruptions following underwater fiber cuts in the Red Sea. The company stated that cloud data transfers outside the Middle East region are not experiencing disruptions and added that it is rerouting communications through alternative servers. Azure is the second largest cloud service provider in the world after Amazon's AWS, and last month it was reported that the IDF used the company's services to establish a massive database of Palestinian phone calls on its servers.
