Police arrested 10 suspects for involvement in brawls and disturbing the peace after Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa fans rioted following the match held at Teddy Stadium in the capital. During the riots, an officer was injured in the head and required medical treatment. Police said: "Most of the fans dispersed in an exemplary manner, but a handful from both teams acted violently. Police forces, including Border Police fighters, the Yasam unit and mounted officers, acted to separate the combatants, and in the process 10 fans were arrested and an officer was injured in the head.
