Bereaved father Yossi Cohen met with Yashar Chairman Gadi Eisenkot, just days after he protested outside his home, called him a 'traitor' and shouted 'You murdered your son.' Cohen asked to apologize to Eisenkot for the things he said outside his home, explaining that 'a few days ago I hurled harsh and terrible things at him and his family members. I want to apologize first of all to Gal, may his memory be a blessing, to Hana and to Gadi. I also want to call on everyone — Knesset members, aides and voters — not to act with violence, to accept the differing opinion.' Cohen's son, Amit, was murdered on Oct. 7 at the Nova music festival, while defending his partner Noral Mansouri and her sister Roya, who were also murdered in the Hamas attack.
