The IDF spokesperson in Arabic, Lieutenant Colonel Avichay Adraee, published a warning to residents who have returned or plan to return to Beit Lahia, Jabaliya, Beit Hanoun, Shuja'iyya, Al-Daraj, the Old City, Al-Tuffah and Zeitoun, which stated: "These areas are dangerous combat zones. The IDF is operating in these areas with great force. For your safety, movement to these areas is prohibited, caution must be exercised."
