The Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved MK Simcha Rotman's (Religious Zionism) bill that would revoke the Supreme Court President's authority to determine the composition of Supreme Court hearing panels. According to the bill, Supreme Court judicial panels will be assigned by computer, including for 'sensitive' cases, which until now have been determined by the Supreme Court President.
