As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returned to the courtroom after the lunch break, a man in the audience shouted at him: 'Why are you smiling? Bring back the hostages. Loser, you're a disgrace to the country. How dare you smile here? Why are you smiling? Circus.' Court security guards removed the man from the hall. Netanyahu's defense attorney Amit Hadad protested: 'Next time something like this happens, we will get up and leave. I come in here after the break and see someone shouting at the Prime Minister, and everyone just sits there and nothing happens. This is pure thuggery.'
