Senior members of the Breslov Hasidic sect expressed anger and surprise at Moldova's decision to cancel pre-planned flights, accusing Moldova of "pure antisemitism" deliberately targeting Jews. This behavior, which they called "shocking," could affect thousands of Hasidim who expect to visit the grave of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov in Uman. Associates of the sect claim this is not the first time Moldova has undermined relations, and "this time the economic and political consequences could be severe."
