According to a preliminary investigation by the Home Front Command into the ballistic missile strike in Petah Tikva, which killed four civilians, the missile hit directly into the wall between two safe rooms in a residential building - and such a direct hit from an exceptionally heavy missile left no chance for the protective structures. Two of the fatalities were inside one of the directly hit safe rooms. Two additional civilians were apparently killed outside the safe room - one on the floor above and the second in the building across the street, as a result of the blast wave.
