Forces from Brigade 188's combat team and Yahalam soldiers recently completed an operation to locate, investigate and destroy an underground tunnel in the Khan Younis area in southern Gaza Strip, according to the IDF spokesperson, who added that the tunnel, which was two kilometers long and about 20 meters deep, was partially located under a building previously used as the Ma'an school in Khan Younis, and was used by Hamas for military purposes and extended stays. At the same time, in recent weeks the brigade has destroyed hundreds of military infrastructures from the ground and air in cooperation with the Air Force, eliminated dozens of militants and located weapons.
