Senior intelligence and security officials in Canada are warning that the Jewish community in the country faces unprecedented threats in their scope and severity since the October 7 massacre, and that the pace of radicalization in the country has not been seen since the September 11, 2001 attacks. The officials revealed in a special briefing that five terrorist plots against Jews have been thwarted in the past five years, and that the threats come from far-right elements, supporters of Islamic terrorist organizations and entities linked to Iran. According to them, a radicalization process that previously took months can now occur in less than a month.
