Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich visited Nahal Oz Kibbutz near the Gaza border. During the visit, the minister was emphasized that full rehabilitation of the kibbutz and community can only happen when Omri Miran and all 58 hostages return home. During the meeting, kibbutz representatives requested an extension of the Nahal Oz community evacuation and presented the minister with challenges of returning to the kibbutz while intense fighting continues. It was emphasized that normal life cannot be maintained under current conditions. It was agreed that the Ministry of Finance and the kibbutz will work together to formulate a framework.
