UN spokesperson: 'Israel not allowing enough aid into Gaza to prevent starvation'

|
United Nations Human Rights Office spokesperson Tamin al-Hittan said in a briefing to reporters in Geneva that "the amount of aid Israel allows into the Gaza Strip is much lower than what is needed to prevent widespread starvation." According to him, "The danger of starvation in Gaza is a direct result of the Israeli government's policy to block humanitarian aid."
