MK Gilad Kariv responded to US President Donald Trump's call to dismiss Netanyahu's trial, saying: "Mr. President, Jewish tradition teaches us that no person is above the law. Including a prime minister. This important principle is embedded in the laws of our Jewish-democratic state." On the other hand, MK Ariel Kelner said: "In principle, I oppose any foreign political interference in Israel's internal affairs. Isn't it time our judicial system does some soul-searching?"
