IDF: Two Golani Reconnaissance Fighters Moderately Wounded in Clash With Terrorists in Southern Lebanon

Two IDF soldiers from Golani's reconnaissance unit were moderately wounded in a clash with Hezbollah terrorists earlier in southern Lebanon. The IDF Spokesperson stated that the fighters were evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital and their families were notified. Around 11:00 a.m., forces from Golani's reconnaissance unit operating under the command of Division 36 encountered several terrorists who opened fire at them. As a result of the terrorists' fire, the two fighters were wounded and were evacuated by helicopter. Forces on the ground returned fire at the terrorists, and the Air Force struck military buildings and an anti-tank position belonging to the terror organization.
