Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a request from the bereaved families of the Gevurah (Heroism) forum to cut off electricity and water to the Gaza Strip. In response to a letter sent by the families in the forum to Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, the prime minister replied that the war objectives "have not changed and will not change" and that he is committed to defeating Hamas, but the operations "are conducted according to international law." Netanyahu emphasized that Israel remains committed to dismantling Hamas, returning the hostages and removing the threat from Gaza to the State of Israel.
