Passengers waiting for security screening at Terminal 1 were asked to leave their luggage and evacuate to a secure area. An investigation reveals the evacuation occurred after a driver in a stolen vehicle failed to stop as required at the airport entrance. The driver was apprehended, and passengers were allowed to return to the screening process. Dror, one of the passengers present, told Ynet: "In the middle of the screening process, suddenly an announcement was heard that we needed to evacuate urgently to the terminal hall and leave all luggage. Panic ensued among the passengers and rumors spread that there was some security issue. After a short time, an announcement was made that we could return to continue the security screening and to the check-in counters."
