European Jewish Association on investigation of Israelis in Belgium: 'Flawed and distorted morality'

|
The European Jewish Association (EJA) criticized the investigation of two Israelis in Belgium after they were documented waving Givati unit flags at the "Tomorrowland" festival. EJA Chairman, Rabbi Menachem Margolin, attacked saying that "the investigation, which stems from political motives, indicates flawed and distorted morality, as IDF soldiers operate within their legal role in defending their country - roles similar to those of any soldier serving in a democratic country - while the complainant (Hind Rajab Foundation) is an entity known for its public support of Hezbollah, a terrorist organization responsible for the deaths of many civilians."
