A man around 60 years old was shot dead in Yarka village in Western Galilee. The emergency medical team that arrived at the scene was forced to pronounce him dead after medical examinations. Police have opened a murder investigation and reported that the background is criminal: "Police officers from the Western Galilee station who arrived at the scene immediately upon receiving the report began collecting evidence together with criminal identification investigators, and are conducting roadblocks and searches in the area to locate suspects as part of the opened investigation."
