The prosecution this morning expressed opposition to questioning former Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit on the witness stand regarding investigative actions taken after he granted approvals. Prosecutor Yehudit Tirosh warned against opening the door in any other case. Judge Bar-Am wondered before her: 'How can we ignore the fact that the attorney general came here and testified about illegal actions?' Until now, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's defense has questioned Mandelblit about actions taken up to the approval stage and during the approval stage. Tirosh told the judge that it is the court's duty to narrow the door to the most necessary matters – the approvals granted by the attorney general.
