Head of Upper Galilee Regional Council: 'If we want real security in the north, we must not stop'

|
Amid reports of a ceasefire in Lebanon, Head of the Upper Galilee Regional Council Amit Sofer said that "residents of the confrontation line want real security, not industrial quiet, and despite the fact that it has been quiet for several consecutive days, which is very tempting, we ask that the Israeli government continue to strike Hezbollah until it is disarmed." He added: "We must not stop until the goal is achieved, otherwise we may celebrate this Independence Day but we will not live here with full and genuine independence."
