The Foreign Ministry addressed allegations regarding the mistreatment of social activist Greta Thunberg and other detainees from the "Sumoud" flotilla, stating they are "blatant lies." The statement noted, "All legal rights of the detainees are fully preserved. Interestingly, Greta herself and other detainees refused to expedite their deportation and insisted on extending their detention. Greta also did not complain to Israeli authorities about any of these ridiculous and baseless allegations - because they never happened."
