India: At least 36 dead and dozens injured in pharmaceutical factory explosion in south of country

At least 36 people were killed and dozens more injured in an explosion at a pharmaceutical factory in the southern Indian state of Telangana. The explosion occurred yesterday at the factory located about 50 km from Hyderabad, the capital city of the state. Authorities have so far recovered the bodies of 34 workers from the rubble, and two more deaths were confirmed at the hospital due to burns. The state's fire department reported that efforts continue to find additional people trapped in the debris.
