Around 100,000 visitors flocked to nature reserves and national parks across Israel over the weekend. The Israel Nature and Parks Authority reported that the leading sites were Gan HaShlosha (Sachne), Caesarea, Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Ein Hemed and Tel Ashkelon. About 8,500 hikers stayed overnight at campgrounds over the weekend. The most popular were Ma'ayan Harod, Gan HaShlosha, Khan Be'erot in Ramon Crater, Masada-West and Tel Ashkelon.
