Ultra-Orthodox extremists announce major protests in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv over arrests of draft dodgers

|
Ultra-Orthodox extremists from the Jerusalem Faction announced that major protests will be held tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. in Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv metropolitan area following the resumption of arrests of draft dodgers. A statement issued by them said that 'following the arrest of yeshiva students and kollel members in recent days by military authorities for the crime of Torah study and their abandonment by the ultra-Orthodox establishment, our rabbi has instructed to hold major protests across the country in protest of the desecration of the honor of the Torah and its students. Our master noted that the protest is also against the terrible desecration of God's name that yeshiva students and kollel members are thrown into prison, and no one opens their mouth or utters a word.'
