US reports: Air defense batteries deployed at Trump's private estate

|
American media reported that under the direction of the Secret Service, which is responsible for securing the U.S. president, defenses at Donald Trump's private estate in Florida have been significantly bolstered and air defense batteries have been deployed there. In images circulated from Mar-a-Lago, two 'Avenger' systems, equipped with Stinger missiles, can be seen on a floating platform in the lake adjacent to the president's estate in Palm Beach. According to reports, the batteries were first spotted near the estate on October 23. An additional battery was also deployed, according to the local news website Palm Beach Daily News, in the southern section of Palm Beach International Airport. The report noted that this battery is located near an area at the airport where Air Force One typically parks when the president arrives there.
