Hapoel Tel Aviv fans abandon Bloomfield: 'Anyone wearing anti-police shirt gets arrested'

|
The Hapoel Tel Aviv ultras organization called on team supporters to exit Bloomfield Stadium before their match against Hapoel Petah Tikva, protesting alleged violence directed at them by police. "Apparently there are new rules in Jaffa - anyone wearing a shirt the police don't like gets thrown out, beaten and arrested. Banners, drums, flags, merchandise, everything gets removed. The police don't even respect the club management, they just know how to take their money to 'secure' the event. We won't participate in this circus. We've left," they stated. A fan shirt shared on social media read "Hapoel ultras against the scum," alongside symbols of the rival team, the police and the extreme right-wing "Kach" movement.
