Ilana Gritzewsky at UN: 'Hamas stole my humanity. We must bring Matan back'

|
Hostage survivor Ilana Gritzewsky arrived at the UN ahead of her testimony before the Security Council. At a press conference alongside Ambassador Danny Danon, she said, "Hamas kidnapped us from our home on October 7. For 55 days, I was forced to be a human shield. They stole my humanity, piece by piece. People in Israel want the war to end. I'm here not just for myself, but for every woman and man who wants to be home." She addressed her captive partner, Matan Tzangauker: "Matan, stay strong. Your mother, your sister and our dog Nuni, we are all waiting for you."
