MDA announced the death of a man in his 40s who jumped from the roof of a building on Marvad Haksamim Street in Rehovot. He was suspected of murdering his 80-year-old mother, who was found lifeless in her apartment in the city. After the murder, the son barricaded himself on the building's roof for about three hours, and after a police intervention team negotiated with him to dissuade him from the act - he jumped to his death.
