The IDF struck several military sites, infrastructure for storage and production of strategic weapons, and a rocket launching site belonging to Hezbollah in the Bekaa Valley deep inside Lebanon and in additional areas in the south of the country. "The presence of weapons and Hezbollah activity in the area constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon," the military stated.
