Yemen's Information Minister Muammar Al-Eryani wrote in an X post that the explosion at warehouses in northern Sanaa resulted from a failed Houthi missile launch near the capital's airport. He added in the post that 'the Houthis are turning vital facilities and residential areas into platforms for launching drones and missiles, using civilians as human shields and violating international humanitarian law.' Earlier, a series of explosions was reported at Houthi weapons warehouses in the Yemeni capital area.
