According to him, 'If Europe's security interests are not guaranteed when the nuclear agreement expires in a few weeks, it goes without saying that we won't hesitate to reimpose all sanctions that were lifted 10 years ago.' In 2015, Western powers - including the US, Britain, France and Germany - signed a nuclear agreement with Iran, under which they lifted the sanctions imposed on it.
