UK Maritime Trade Agency Issues New Guidelines Ahead of Hormuz Blockade

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has issued new guidelines ahead of the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz. The new guidelines state that access restrictions apply indiscriminately to all vessels, regardless of flag, that pass through Iranian ports, oil terminals or coastal facilities. It also states that neutral vessels currently inside Iranian ports have been granted a limited grace period to depart.
