Tens of thousands of people protested across Brazil in support of former President Jair Bolsonaro, who is accused of attempting a coup following his election defeat in 2022. The protesters demonstrated in several cities throughout the giant country, including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and the capital Brasília, against the backdrop of heavy tariffs imposed by the United States on Brazil in protest of the trial against the man considered an ally of President Donald Trump. In some demonstrations, protesters wore yellow and green shirts and held signs that read "Thanks Trump."
