Iran: Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr replaces slain Ali Larijani

An aide to Iranian President Mehdi Tabatabaei announced that Mohammad Bagher Zolghadr has been appointed secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, replacing Ali Larijani who was killed. It was reported that the appointment was made "with the approval of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, and by decree of President Masoud Pezeshkian."
