IDF blocks left-wing activists' buses near Ariel on their way to olive harvest in Burin

|
IDF and police forces blocked seven buses carrying left-wing activists near Ariel who intended to participate in an olive harvest in the Burin area to assist Palestinians following recent nationalist crime incidents. As a result, the activists blocked the road for about twenty minutes and then continued to hold a demonstration at the site. Knesset member Gilad Kariv from 'The Democrats,' who arrived at the scene with the activists, said that "police officers are avoiding presenting a military order designating the area as a closed military zone, and are using arbitrary authority to prevent passage."
