Suspect: Man from East Jerusalem allegedly set fire to sukkah in city with racist motive

A 52-year-old man, a resident of East Jerusalem, was arrested on suspicion of setting fire to a sukkah with a racist motive during the holiday. Police said that following a report received on Sunday about a sukkah fire in the Agrippas area in the city center, an investigation was opened into the matter. The suspect was interrogated at the station on suspicion of arson with a racist motive, and today the investigating unit will request to extend his detention at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court.
