Senior Israeli and American officials met in Washington to discuss Gaza, Iran and Syria

Coordination talks between Israel and the U.S. on a range of diplomatic issues, including the hostage deal, ceasefire in Gaza, Iran, Syria and the Houthis, were held yesterday in Washington. The Israeli side included Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, National Security Adviser Tzachi Hanegbi, Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter and Mossad Director Dadi Barnea. The American side included Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Haguesth, Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and CIA Director John Ratcliffe. This represents the highest level of the strategic dialogue forum between Israel and the United States.
