Foreign Minister Gideon Saar responded to Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski. "What you wrote demonstrates ignorance and a profound lack of understanding. Unfortunately, in every war, innocent people are harmed, particularly when terrorists use a civilian population as human shields. But there is no Western army that fights terror more precisely and based on better intelligence than the IDF." He added: "In fact, European citizens directly benefit from the results of IDF operations. I suggest that instead of preaching morality to others, you personally condemn the shameful antisemitic display we saw in the Polish parliament last week. One should be careful with irresponsible statements that are liable to lead to dangerous places."
