30 Jews Missing on China-Nepal Border: Chabad House in Kathmandu Becomes Search Hub

|
About 30 Jews, including two Israelis, are among the 4,400 people missing in floods on the China-Nepal border. The Chabad House in Kathmandu has become a center for coordinating the search for those missing in the disaster. Chabad House reported that Chabad emissaries in Nepal, Rabbi Chezki and Chani Lifshitz, are speaking with worried relatives from around the world and coordinating operations with the authorities. Additionally, "they sent a relief team with food and medical supplies waiting to enter areas that can only be reached by air."
