A Magen David Adom team that arrived at the scene of a car explosion on Saharon Street in Jaffa was forced to pronounce a man in his 40s dead at the scene. Another person injured in the explosion was evacuated to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon. MDA paramedic Yaarit Oren and MDA medics Anwar Sharqawi and Shimon Dahan said: "We received several reports of a car explosion. We arrived at the scene with large forces and saw the vehicle engulfed in flames with shrapnel scattered around. A man in his 40s was lying near the vehicle unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with multi-system trauma. We performed medical examinations, but his injury was severe and we were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene."
