Minister for Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer is in Paris ahead of negotiations on Iran's nuclear program between representatives from Germany and France and Iran, which will take place in Istanbul next Friday. This was reported by Reuters news agency citing four sources. Two of the sources reported that Dermer will speak with "official figures" about the talks with the Iranians. According to reports, Dermer will meet with the U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Thomas Brake, and discuss a security arrangement regarding Syria. At the same time, if there are developments in negotiations on a hostage deal, Dermer will travel to Sardinia and meet with U.S. envoy Steve Whitcoff.
