The 'Alert Mother' movement, which represents mothers of combat soldiers, responded to the presentation of the military service exemption law, stating that "Three combat soldiers were killed today in Gaza. Another soldier committed suicide at the base. At the exact same time, while knowing what happened, the government was busy finding draft evasion solutions for the ultra-Orthodox. While entire lives are collapsing, our children are being sent back into the depths of hell, exhausted and worn out, without hope. More casualties and another suicide, and they act as if we have an infinite number of sons to bury. We must not allow this to continue."
