Government advances plan to develop tourism in Judea and Samaria with hundreds of millions

|
The government is expected to discuss a new and extensive government plan to develop tourism in Judea and Samaria, aimed at positioning the region as a significant tourist destination in Israel and increasing the number of visitors to its heritage, nature and archaeological sites. This emerges from a proposed government resolution by Tourism Minister Haim Katz, which was formulated as a continuation of previous government decisions on the matter. According to the proposal, the Tourism Ministry will formulate a multi-year plan for 2026-2030 that will include the development of tourism infrastructure, promotion of heritage sites, preservation of historical assets, establishment of hospitality and tourism facilities and expansion of marketing activities for the region domestically and internationally.
