The two met during the opposition leader's lightning visit to the Emirates, during which he also met with Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed. Lapid and the UAE president discussed regional developments and the return of the hostages. During his visit, the Yesh Atid chairman gave an interview to SkyNews Arabia where he said that "the entire Arab world should pressure Hamas to implement the deal."
